Season 2 isn’t too far away in Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone are right in the middle of Season 1, but many players are still curious about when the next seasonal update will arrive. While Season 1 Reloaded has yet to be released, that update is slated to be released in the coming days. This puts Season 2 in Black Ops 7 and Warzone as the next update to look forward to, but Activision hasn't officially confirmed its launch date.
Fortunately, we have a pretty solid idea of when Season 2 should arrive, and you can see when that is in the guide below.
Season 2 release date in Black Ops 7 and Warzone
While Activision hasn't come out and stated when players can expect Season 2, we have all the information we need inside Black Ops 7.
Every season, a new Battle Pass is released that features tiers of new cosmetics, weapons, and other items. These Battle Passes only last the duration of the current season, and each pass has a countdown timer so that players know exactly how much time they have to earn every tier.
In Season 1 of Black Ops 7, we can see that the current Battle Pass has 30 days left at the time of writing. This would put the end of the Battle Pass on Thursday, Feb. 5, which is the most likely release date for Season 2. Activision tends to launch major updates on Thursday as well, so the date perfectly lines up on all fronts.
Of course, we've seen delays occur in the past that have caused the current Battle Pass' countdown timer be extended. While that could certainly still happen with Season 1's pass, we usually have some kind of leak or indication that a delay is on the horizon. Nothing about a delay has been brought up yet, and we've even received leaks that Season 2 is set to be bigger than Season 1 in terms of total content.
So, while we don't have any official details yet, you can likely go ahead and mark Feb. 5 down in your calendars as the release date for Season 2 in Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
