The VST is a familiar friend in Call of Duty, but how do you unlock it in Black Ops 7 Season 3?
It’s finally time for another season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Season 3 looks like it might be the biggest one yet. Packed with content for multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone, players should have no issue finding something new in the update. Of course, most players will gravitate towards the new weapons, and there are four to choose from at the start of the season, including the familiar VST SMG. Unlocking the VST in Black Ops 7 and Warzone
The VST looks to be a close reimagining of the MP7 from Black Ops 2, which would make sense, seeing as we’re also getting a remaster of the map Plaza from that game in Season 3. If you want to unlock the VST and relive the glory days of BO2, you can take one of two routes.
The first route is through the Season 3 Battle Pass, where the VST is the HVT reward on Page 6. This means you have to unlock all of the content on Page 6 before you can unlock the VST. As always, the VST and all other Battle Pass weapons are completely free, so you don’t have to purchase the Premium or BlackCell versions.
Of course, if you don’t want to go through the Battle Pass at all, then you can simply buy the VST in Black Ops 7. Either at the launch or shortly after Season 3 arrives, there will be a store bundle released containing a weapon blueprint for the VST.
Buying this bundle automatically unlocks the SMG and gives you some free attachments. However, we don’t know how much the bundle will cost or what the blueprint for the VST looks like just yet, so we’ll have to wait until April 2 to see more.
