The Lockshot is a new scorestreak coming in Season 2 Reloaded, but it won't be unlocked right away.
Season 2 Reloaded in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is bringing a solid offering of content with it, and one new item arriving in the update is the Lockshot scorestreak. The Lockshot is something we’ve never seen before in Call of Duty, and it’s a low-priced scorestreak, so you can expect to see a lot of it when it’s released into multiplayer.
Of course, before you can get excited about equipping a new scorestreak on your loadout, you need to know how to unlock the Lockshot in Black Ops 7. Below, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about when the scorestreak is coming in Season 2 Reloaded.
Unlocking the Lockshot in Black Ops 7
If you’ve paid attention to how other scorestreaks have been unlocked in Black Ops 7 and in other recent games, then you likely have a solid idea about how the Lockshot will be unlocked.
In Season 2 Reloaded, you can unlock the Lockshot through the Weekly Challenges system in Black Ops 7. Week 6 of the Weekly Challenges is confirmed to unlock the Lockshot, so you can unlock it as soon as Season 2 Reloaded is released on March 12.
When the Lockshot does become available, all you have to do is complete seven challenges in that week’s Weekly Challenges. You can complete your seven challenges across any game mode you want, just as long as you complete seven total.
For example, you can complete four challenges in multiplayer, two in Zombies, and one in Warzone, and still complete the Weekly Challenges, as you finished seven total challenges. Or, just complete all seven in a single game mode so you don’t have to do any math.
Regardless, once your Weekly Challenges are done, the Lockshot is yours, and you can freely equip it through the scorestreaks menu in Black Ops 7.
