The Kogot-7 is a new SMG in Season 1, but how do you unlock it?
Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone is launching soon, and coming with it are two new weapons: the Maddox RFB and the Kogot-7. The Maddox RFB is an iconic classic from Black Ops 4, but the Kogot-7 is an entirely new weapon to the Call of Duty franchise. It's a compact SMG that looks similar to the MP7, but it behaves much differently. If you want to test out the Kogot-7 for yourself in Black Ops 7 or Warzone, you'll have to unlock the SMG in Season 1 first.

How to unlock the Kogot-7 in Black Ops 7 Season 1
Since the Kogot-7 is releasing at the start of Season 1, it's going to be a Battle Pass weapon, meaning the primary way you unlock the SMG is by going through the tiers of the Battle Pass.
Fortunately for all players, the Kogot-7 is unlocked incredibly early on, as you only have to get to Battle Pass Page 3 to earn it. The Kogot-7 is the HVT (high-value target) on Page 3, so you'll need to unlock every other tier on the page to then unlock the SMG. If you purchased the Vault Edition of Black Ops 7 or buy the BlackCell version of the Battle Pass, you earn 20 free tier skips, which gives you immediate access to the Kogot-7.
In addition to its base unlock on Page 3, you can also earn a weapon blueprint for the Kogot-7 by reaching Page 11 on the Battle Pass. That tier is also the HVT for that page.
For players who don't want to go through the Battle Pass at all, you can also unlock the Kogot-7 by purchasing a Store Bundle that includes a blueprint for the SMG. We don't know the date, price, or contents of the bundle yet, but buying it will give you permanent access to the Kogot-7, even after you Prestige in Black Ops 7 or Warzone. The bundle should be released at the start or shortly after Season 1 goes live.
