Best XMG loadout in Warzone

Light machine guns have a long and storied history of success in Call of Duty: Warzone. Their high accuracy and damage paired with large magazines make them tremendous long range options regardless of what iteration of Warzone is out. In the Black Ops 6 version of Warzone, the XMG light machine gun has emerged as arguably the top long range choice in the meta.

The XMG is quite a strong weapon in multiplayer and that has easily transferred over to battle royale. However, if players want to get the absolute most out of the XMG in Warzone, they'll need to equip a specific loadout of attachments.

First and foremost, you'll need to unlock the XMG in the Gunsmith before you can make a loadout for it. Like most other Black Ops 6 weapons, the XMG is unlocked by reaching a certain level. If you prestige your account and reset your level, then you'll have to unlock the XMG all over again. The only exceptions to that rule are by using a Prestige Token on the XMG or unlocking a blueprint for it in the Battle Pass or store.

The XMG is unlocked at level 13 in Warzone, meaning it won't take you long at all to earn it each prestige. As such, it's recommended not to use a Prestige Token on it.

There's nothing strange or special about this XMG loadout, as it features all the meta attachments on a Black Ops 6 gun. However, this loadout works extremely well for the XMG, as it buffs every stat on the weapon and makes it a truly versatile option.

The only attachments you could change are the optic and magazine. We have opted for the Willis 3x scope, which is great for long range engagements. If you prefer something with a lower or higher zoom, though, that's what you should use. As for the magazine, the Fast Mag I offers 75 bullets in every clip. Of course, you're free to use the Fast Mag II or an Extended Mag based on your needs.

That wraps up the best XMG loadout in Warzone. Alongside the GPR 91 assault rifle, it's one of the strongest long range choices in the current meta. As for the close range meta, the Jackal PDW works great as a secondary option to the XMG if you plan to run the Overkill wildcard.
