The PP-919 is among the strongest submachine guns in Black Ops 6, but it still needs a proper loadout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 doesn't truly feature a subpar submachine gun (SMG). All of them are quite usable and possess certain qualities that make them useful in different situations. Of course, one is always going to be considered the "best," and so far, it appears as though the PP-919 has taken that title in the early going of Black Ops 6.

The PP-919 is a returning weapon that was last seen in the original Modern Warfare 3 from 2011. It features the largest magazine size of any SMG and has terrific mobility, fire rate, and accuracy. It's slightly lacking in the damage department, but fortunately, we can mitigate that issue by using a set of key attachments on the PP-919's loadout.

How to unlock the PP-919 in Black Ops 6

First and foremost, you need to unlock the PP-919 before you can begin using it in multiplayer. The PP-919 is unlocked at level 37 in Black Ops 6, which is right in the middle of your Prestige grind.

After you reach level 37, you can equip the PP-919 by going to your loadouts, selecting the SMG category, and choosing the PP-919. From there, you won't have any attachments available to put on the SMG until you rank up its weapon level.

Attachments for the best PP-919 loadout in Black Ops 6

Once the PP-919 has been unlocked and ranked up, you'll be able to equip the best attachments for it. These attachments boost all the pertinent stats for the PP-919, including damage range, mobility, and accuracy.

  1. Muzzle: Ported Compensator
  2. Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
  3. Magazine: Fast Mag I
  4. Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  5. Stock: Balanced Stock

This is a fantastic loadout that checks all the boxes for the PP-919. It begins with the Ported Compensator, which drastically reduces your first shot recoil and boosts overall accuracy. Next, the Reinforced Barrel adds some much-needed damage range to the SMG, making it more lethal at long range.

Following those attachments, it's time to improve mobility. The Ergonomic Grip and Balanced Stock add every mobility stat that matters, including movement speed, slide to fire speed, aim down sights speed, and dive to fire speed. Finally, the loadout is concluded with the Fast Mag I, which brings your magazine size down to 50 but increases reload speed.

Best secondary weapon for the PP-919

Moving on, your next class item to equip is a secondary weapon. Overall, the strongest secondary in Black Ops 6 is the Stryder .22, but that's unlocked at a high level.

So, for the early levels, you'd want to stick with the 9mm PM, which is the default pistol on every loadout. Both of these pistols are semi-automatic and behave similarly, so which one you choose won't have a huge effect on your gameplay.

Best tactical and lethal equipment for the PP-919

Next, you have to equip both a piece of tactical and lethal equipment. You can see what we recommend below:

  1. Tactical Equipment - Stim Shot
  2. Lethal Equipment - Semtex or Impact Grenade

The Stim Shot is far and away the strongest piece of tactical equipment available, allowing you to instantly with the press of a button. However, Flashbangs are also strong and unlocked earlier.

As for lethals, the Semtex and Impact Grenade are interchangeable, with the Impact Grenade being a little more fun to use.

Best perks and wildcard for the PP-919

Finally, we have to equip a set of perks and a wildcard for the PP-919 loadout. Your wildcard will depend on what level you are, but we recommend using a Prestige Token on Perk Greed, as it's quite a late unlock.

  1. Perk 1: Ninja
  2. Perk 2: Fast Hands
  3. Perk 3: Double Time
  4. Perk 4: Flak Jacket/Ghost
  5. Wildcard: Perk Greed

This is the best all-around set of perks available in Black Ops 6 multiplayer. However, you could also set up your perks to earn scorestreaks more easily, which is a completely different way to go.

Either way, using the Perk Greed wildcard is going to be key for most loadouts. If you don't have Perk Greed, using Gunfighter to equip eight attachments on your weapon is the next best choice.

If you're a fan of SMGs, then you can also check out the loadout guides we've done on the C9 and the KSV, both of which are strong in their own right.
