While it's arguably the best assault rifle in multiplayer, several other long-range weapons were much stronger in battle royale. However, all that changed with the Season 1 Reloaded update, as the M15 Mod 0 received a huge buff. Now, the M15 Mod 0 has a top loadout in Warzone that's begun to dominate the meta.

The M15 Mod 0 is one of, if not the easiest, weapons to use in Warzone. It has virtually no recoil, high damage, and decent mobility for an AR. Of course, you still need to equip it with the right attachments if you want to make it the meta weapon that it's become.

You see a sizeable improvement in damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control, along with a huge increase in magazine size. While mobility suffers, you're meant to be using the AR at longer ranges, so lower mobility shouldn't be a huge problem.
