The VST is a new submachine gun in Warzone, and here's the best loadout for it in battle royale.
In Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone, it might finally be time for an SMG to firmly enter the meta. While SMGs have been teetering in and out of the meta since the Black Ops 7 integration, one SMG hasn’t really taken over. That might change with the new VST, which is a near-replica of the old MP7 from Black Ops 2. If you want to return to the glory days with the VST, however, you’ll want to use its absolute best loadout for Warzone.

Best loadout for the VST in Warzone
Like all weapons in Warzone, the VST only becomes truly worth it once you level it all the way up. Before that happens, you’ll have to unlock the VST, which can be done in a couple of ways. Once that’s done, you can equip the strongest attachments for the SMG, which makes it one of the stronger close-range options in Warzone.
Here’s our recommended loadout for the VST:
- Muzzle: Hawker Series 45
- Barrel: 14″ LTI Expedition Barrel
- Magazine: Avarice Extended Mag II
- Stock: VAS Blench Pad
- Fire Mods: Buffer Spring

By default, the VST has a ton of vertical recoil, so we need to immediately compensate for that with our loadout. While the VST will have kick regardless of what attachments you use, our loadout makes it less noticeable. We have also added the maximum magazine size as well as some extra damage range with the 14″ LTI Expedition Barrel.
