The new SMG in Season 1 has quite the strong loadout.
The Kogot-7 is one of the two new weapons that arrived with the start of the Season 1 update in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. It's a compact SMG that has a fast fire rate, solid mobility, and some moderate recoil. When compared to the current crop of SMGs in Black Ops 7, the Kogot-7 looks to be a contender for the best in the class, but only when you equip it with its strongest loadout.

Best loadout for the Kogot-7 in Black Ops 7
Before you do anything with the Kogot-7, you have to unlock it in Black Ops 7, which is done in one of a few ways. After you've permanently unlocked the Kogot-7, you can get started with grinding out its weapon levels to earn all the attachments you need for its loadout. While you can get by with some low-level attachments, maxing out the Kogot-7 ensures you have access to the best loadout possible.
Here's our recommended loadout for the Kogot-7:

The Kogot-7 has terrific mobility and a solid fire rate by default. However, you'll absolutely notice some recoil when using it without any attachments. To make up for that, we've added four recoil control attachments to significantly improve vertical and horizontal recoil as well as recoil gun kick. There's also a damage range barrel included in the loadout that improves damage, but also makes the Kogot-7's iron sights much clearer.
