The Intervention is back in MW2 as the FJX Imperium and, of course, its best loadout turns it into a quickscoping tool of destruction.

Like every Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 season, Season 3 has introduced some new weapons. One of those is the FJX Imperium sniper rifle. Known as the Intervention in previous COD titles, the FJX Imperium has access to one of the best quickscope loadouts you'll find in MW2.

That is what made the Intervention such a popular weapon. The invention of quickscoping changed Call of Duty forever and longtime players can relive the glory days in MW2. There aren't many more satisfying moments than racking up a swift streak with quickscope sniper kills.

With the FJX Imperium being a new weapon in Season 3, it can only be unlocked through the Battle Pass. That will change once the season ends and the Battle Pass is no longer available. At first, though, completing a simple challenge won't do the trick.

While it sits in Sector C4, you'll need to complete the adjacent Sector C2 of the Battle Pass to obtain the sniper rifle. This is one of the first sectors you can finish with your Battle Pass Tokens. The FJX Imperium is a free reward in that sector and you should be able to get it pretty early in the season.

Attachments for the best FJX Imperium loadout in MW2

Only four attachments are needed to turn the FJX Imperium into a quickscoping machine. Those attachments are:

  • Laser: VLK LZR 7W
  • Carry Handle: Field-Wrapped Handle
  • Stock: FJX KILO-TAC
  • Bolt: FJX Blast

The best loadout for the FJX Imperium in MW2 will have two uses. Its damage and range are already high, allowing you to utilize it as a regular sniper rifle. Then the attachments increase the fire rate, handling, and mobility to give it quickscoping capabilities.

It only receives small reductions in accuracy and recoil control. They aren't enough to make a big impact and hamper the weapon. The only true downfall is that enemies can see you coming with the visible laser attachment. With the speed of your quickscoping, however, they won't have time to react.
