The ERGT-17 is one of three new weapons available to unlock at the start of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2. It's an assault rifle with a highly unique ability that allows its bullets to ricochet off walls and hit enemy players. Obviously, with a gun this different from anything else in Black Ops 7, you'll want to ensure you have the best possible loadout for the ERGT-17 if you want to succeed with it in your hands.

Best loadout for the ERGT-17 in Black Ops 7
The ERGT-17's unique trait in Black Ops 7 is its ability to bounce shots off walls, so we'll be leaning into that for its multiplayer loadout. However, this will require you to prestige the ERGT-17, as you'll need access to its Prestige Attachment to get the most out of our loadout.
Here's our recommended loadout for the ERGT-17:
- Muzzle: Lattice Compensator
- Barrel: 17.9" EAM Planar Barrel
- Rear Grip: Bowen Dampener Grip
- Stock: Eider Sidestep Stock
- Fire Mods: MFS Heated Echo Rounds

For the most part, this is a standard assault rifle loadout in Black Ops 7. It improves damage range, bullet velocity, recoil control, mobility, and strafe speeds. However, we're using the MFS Heated Echo Rounds in the fire mods slot, which allows the ERGT-17's shots to ricochet up to three more times. This gives you a much better chance at killing enemies while using the ricochet ability of the assault rifle.
