The AMAX is back on Verdansk
The CR-56 AMAX has returned with the Season 3 update in Call of Duty: Warzone, and you can finally use the assault rifle on Verdansk again. The AMAX became a beloved weapon during the first life cycle of Warzone, and fans especially loved the different loadouts that could be designed with the weapon. In the current version of Warzone, the CR-56 AMAX has an equally strong loadout that might make it meta in the long-range category.

Best loadout for the CR-56 AMAX in Warzone
The CR-56 AMAX is just as strong as it was during its original run in Warzone. It has tremendous damage range, a decent fire rate, and controllable recoil. However, the recoil can get a little wild on the horizontal side, so the loadout you use needs to try and cut down on that to make the AMAX a true laser beam.

The attachment that your eyes might immediately be drawn to is the Monolithic Suppressor. The famous muzzle attachment has returned in Warzone, and it improves your bullet velocity as well as damage range and keeps your red dot off the mini-map when firing. However, the Monolithic Suppressor needs to be unlocked separately in Warzone.
Alongside the Monolithic Suppressor, we have seven other attachments in use. As you can see, we're using the Gunfighter Wildcard to get the most out of the AMAX. All of the attachments in use boost pertinent stats of the AR, including adding more bullet velocity and damage range with the Reinforced Barrel. The Vertical Foregrip and Recoil Springs improve recoil control, while the Commando Grip and Balanced Stock boost your overall mobility.
For an optic, we've gone with the Volzhskiy Reflex, which excels at mid-range, but you can throw on the Willis 3x or the Jason Armory 2x for a more magnified scope. Finally, the Extended Mag II magazine gives us the most possible ammunition for the CR-56 AMAX.
