The CODA 9 has one of the most interesting loadouts in multiplayer.
The CODA 9 was seen as the worst pistol in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 ever since the game launched in November of 2025. It's a fully auto machine pistol that has extremely high recoil and low damage, making it a subpar option compared to the stronger Jager 45 and Velox 5.7 pistols. However, a recent Weekly Challenge in Black Ops 7 gave the CODA 9 a brand new attachment, which completely changes up its top loadout and its standing in multiplayer.
Below, you can see the strongest loadout of attachments for the CODA 9 in Black Ops 7 multiplayer.
Best loadout for the CODA 9 in Black Ops 7
The new attachment for the CODA 9 is the "CODA 9 Adaptive Discharge Mod," which is a stock attachment for the pistol. This is unlocked through Week 6 of the Weekly Challenges in Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
With this attachment, you turn the CODA 9 into a hipfire weapon, as the stock improves hipfire fire rate, spread, and overall accuracy. The downside is you can't really use the pistol when aiming down sights, as it now has a tremendously low fire rate. We'll be using this new stock as the highlight of our loadout.
Here's our recommended loadout for the CODA 9:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: 6.3" Greaves Halberd Barrel
- Magazine: MFS Deltacell Bulk Mag (Prestige Attachment)
- Stock: CODA 9 Adaptive Discharge Mod
- Laser: Convergence Box Laser
Loadout Build Code: P03-LXRNN-QIP11

In conjunction with the CODA 9 Adaptive Discharge Mod, we're also using the MFS Deltacell Bulk Mag, which is the Prestige Attachment for the pistol. This gives it extra damage range and a larger magazine, allowing you to use the CODA 9 as an SMG of sorts. Of course, with the hipfire nature of the stock, you'll want to only use the CODA 9 at very close ranges to be as accurate as possible.
While a loadout for the CODA 9 is good, a loadout for the Jager 45, arguably the best pistol in Black Ops 7, is even better.
