Toronto Ultra’s superstar line-up to stick together for Call of Duty: Vanguard

Toronto Ultra have announced the return of their superstar roster for the third season of the Call of Duty League. Their road to redemption starts now.

The Toronto Ultra have announced the return of their superstar roster ahead of the Call of Duty: Vanguard season. Their lineup, which finished Second at the Call of Duty Championships last season, will be looking to re-establish their position as the "Kings of The North" for the third installment of the Call of Duty League.

Toronto On The Road To Redemption

The Toronto Ultra performed well beyond everyone's expectations this past season; finishing second overall in the regular season. In that time the roster, which features last season's MVP candidate Cammy as well as Rookie of The Season candidate Insight, managed to reach 3 out of the 6 event finals in which they claimed victory in the Stage 2 Major; a win which saw the Ultra squad become the first European roster to win a major COD tournament on North American soil in four years. In fact they were arguably the second most well-rounded roster in the league last season, behind champions Atlanta FaZe.

Unfortunately, the Ultra also saw their share of heartbreaks this season; the most famous occasion being their loss to Minnesota Rokkr in the Stage 5 Major Final, a match in which they led the series 4 - 0. Likewise, although they found themselves in the 2021 CoD Champs Grand Final, they ended up falling to FaZe Clan; which marked FaZe's first ever CoD Champs victory.

Despite the of highs and lows last season, Toronto Ultra fans were delighted by the news that their highly talented roster will be returning for Vanguard. And if Bance and the boys can get off to as great a start in Vanguard as they did in Black Ops: Cold War then we could see even more success coming their way. Given the calibre of rosters that have already been announced ahead of the Vanguard season, the question is can Toronto Ultra go one step further next season by claiming the crown?
