“FaZe the f**k up” – Rapper Snoop Dogg officially becomes FaZe Snoop. Yes, for real.

Rapper Snoop Dogg, now known as FaZe Snoop, has officially become part of esports organisation FaZe Clan just weeks after performing at the Super Bowl.

In a news that will delight some and confuse others, American rapper and song writer Snoop Dogg has officially become a member of FaZe Clan as FaZe Snoop.

The rapper behind cult classic hits such as "Drop it Like It's Hot" and "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" was seen last month sporting FaZe Clan chain during his recent Super Bowl appearance.

Now, in a video trailer on Twitter, FaZe Clan have revealed Snoop Dogg is now officially part of the organization. FaZe Clan have also confirmed the rapper will be joining their board of directors.

The trailer starts by showing a Snoop Dogg inspired 3D model gaming in a studio before a puff of smoke transitions to show him streaming and meeting up with FaZe Clan members at the Super Bowl.

Snoop Dogg, who has 19.7 million followers on Twitter, has already changed his Twitter name to confirm he is indeed...FaZe Snoop.

FaZe Snoop is real and a huge Madden fan

Snoop Dogg is no stranger to gaming, and in fact has his own Twitch channel DoggyDogg20, with over 600,000 followers. The rapper most recently played Madden 21, and although nobody could hear him, it didn't stop him vibing.

Snoop Dogg also organised the Gangsta Gaming League in 2019, which hosted a Madden tournament. The prize for the title of "Top Dogg" was $11,000 and a chance to play with the man himself.

Snoop Dogg is undoubtably a massive Madden fan, and has streamed over 300 hours of the American football series.

FaZe Clan have also been involved in the NFL, recently doing a massive collaboration with them which featured NFL legends Brett Favre and Mike Vick. The collaboration was called FaZe vs AMP and took place at the LA Convention Center on Feb 12th on Super Bowl weekend.

FaZe Clan continues to be very skilled at bridging the gap between gaming and mainstream sports culture, but few could have expected this partnership.

It's time as FaZe Snoop said, to "FaZe the f**k up".
