How to watch the 2021 Hearthstone World Championship

2022 Hearthstone program details will be revealed during the livestream. It’s finally here, the $500,000 finale to this year’s competitive season!

The 2021 Hearthstone World Championship will kick off this Saturday on Dec. 18. Starting at 8 a.m. PST, Hearthstone’s top eight players will duke it out against each other within the Fractured in Alterac Valley expansion. A prize pool of $500,000 will be on the line.

Where to watch and what to expect

The live broadcast will begin on Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. PST over on YouTube. Competitors will bring four decks into the fray and duel under the best-of-five conquest with a ban format. The champion will be crowned on Dec. 19.

As for the casting talent, they will include Alex “Raven” Baguley, Darroch “Darroch” Brown, Jia “Jia” Dee, Neil “Lorinda” Bond, Simon “Sottle” Welch and TJ “Azumo” Sanders.

Alex Barhorst, the product lead at Hearthstone Esports, will also join TJ on the desk after Match 2. He will be revealing some exciting details about Hearthstone’s 2022 program. 

How to earn Fractured Alterac Valley card packs

Fans can also earn up to two Fractured in Alterac Valley card packs throughout the 2021 Hearthstone World Championship. 

A viewer can earn their first card pack by watching two hours of the livestream on a qualifying YouTube channel. Another card pack will be rewarded after watching two more hours. 

Here is the list of qualifying channels: 

A viewer must connect their Battle.net and YouTube accounts first. To do so, they must visit the “Connected Apps” section on Youtube and press the “Connect” button located next to Battle.net. After following the simple prompts, a viewer will be able to receive YouTube Drops.
