Yinlin is the second limited SSR character in Wuthering Waves, right after Jiyan. She is the first female limited SSR character. Considering this and the fact that she's a high-tier character in terms of gameplay, demand for her is extremely high.

Yinlin release date in Wuthering Waves is June 6, 2024. Her banner will come directly after Jiyan's. Below you can find the exact release time.

This early release date comes after a slight adjustment in the schedule announced by Wuthering Waves. The adjustment pushed up her banner earlier, ending Jiyan's prematurely in the process.

Wuthering Waves version 1.0 will last until June 28, 2024. This means that her banner will be available for three weeks.

"Yinlin is a skilled Patroller and powerful Natural Resonator. After being suspended from her duties at the Public Security Bureau, she must now pursue hidden evils in secrecy."

You can pre-farm most of her required materials. In fact, you can farm enough materials to ascend her to the max. Only one material is not pre-farmable, one that she needs to upgrade her Fortes.

She is a Hybrid character, sitting between a Support and a DPS. Her kit revolves around Zapstring, her puppet which facilitates most of her combat skills. Her value stays even if she is not on the field. Other party members can utilize the Punishment Mark that she applies to enemies.

Other marked enemies also take damage when enemies marked with Punishment Mark are damaged. This is useful when clearing multiple enemies.

Yinlin's Resonator showcase launched one hour ahead of her global launch across all servers. It gave us a taste of what the masterful puppeteer is capable of.
