Two new characters join WuWa — and the adventure continues in a new region, Wuthering Waves Rinascita.
Big changes are coming to Wuthering Waves. The developers announced that the new region, Rinascita, is the next destination for WuWa players and their Resonators. The game gets a PS5 release at the start of 2025. And new characters join the roster.
Two new 5-star Resonators were confirmed for Wuthering Waves 2.0: Carlotta and Roccia.
Carlotta in Wuthering Waves
The official social account of Wuthering Waves shared drip marketing for Carlotta. It reveals the girl’s backstory and highlights her personality.
“Fate will lead you to me eventually, and I am merely extending my finest proposal in advance… You wouldn't refuse me, would you?”
There is also some archive information about Wuthering Waves Carlotta. She is part of the Montelli family — a noble girl who admires art. Carlota is elegant and powerful. If there are some family troubles, she is ready to solve them with a gun in her hand.

The Wuthering Waves drip marketing doesn’t reveal details on Carlotta’s kit, so we need to wait for further announcements.
It is still pretty obvious that Carlotta battles with a pistol. According to her official description, we can expect strong dueling skills from the girl. She should be an effective damage dealer.
The character is a gifted comedian. She performs with the Fool's Troupe. The art of Roccia WuWa drip marketing pretty much reflects such a stage personality. May her performance skills be helpful during Wuthering Waves battles?

The element and weapon of Roccia should be announced later. We have even fewer guesses about this girl compared to Carlotta. Still, the official info mentions a Peculiar Box that carries a variety of objects. This can be a nice magical device for a support character in Wuthering Waves.

Right after the game’s Version 1.4, the developers make a jump to WuWa 2.0. This is not only about the number. Wuthering Waves takes the players to a totally new adventure: in the Rinascita region.

In addition to the PC and mobile versions, Wuthering Waves gets its console presence. The game launches on PlayStation 5 — the PS5 release date is Jan. 2, 2025. It’s the same day when Wuthering Waves 2.0 takes everyone to Rinascita.
