WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers – Pre-Order Bonuses & Deluxe Edition. Worth it?

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers offers exclusive pre-order bonuses for consoles and a Deluxe Edition for PC. Here’s everything included, and whether it’s worth the extra $10.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is gearing up for its release, and if you’re considering picking it up, you’ll want to know what comes with the pre-order bonuses and Deluxe Edition. Here’s what you can expect and whether it’s worth spending extra cash.

The pre-order bonuses are console only (PlayStation and Xbox) while the Deluxe Edition is exclusive to PC. Do be aware that if you play the game on XBox Game Pass, you will not be entitled to the Day One Edition console bonus items.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Pre-Order Bonuses

For Day One physical purchases of WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers for Xbox and PlayStation pre-order bonuses are available. The two main rewards are what the developer is calling "Enhanced Costume Sets"; White Spectre and Night Spectre.

  • White Spectre - Enhanced Costume (5 pieces)
  • Night Spectre - Enhanced Costume (5 pieces)
  • Vermillion War Club Axe (Weapon)
  • Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade item (Medium)

Based on the small print, these two costumes will each feature 5 pieces, most likely allowing players to mix and match with other cosmetics they've acquired. Expect to see literally nobody wearing the hat pieces, but everyone wearing the rest of the outfits.

As with the costumes and items in the Deluxe Edition, the pre-order rewards are not exclusive to launch and may be sold separately at a later date.

Is the Deluxe Edition Worth it?

Yes, for only $10 extra the Deluxe Edition offers quite a nice haul. However, it is important to note that these items are not exclusive and according to the developer, may be sold separately at a later date. That said, the idea of kicking ass on launch day dressed in the Tiger of Fortune outfit seems worth the money. Do be sure to make sure your PC meets the system requirements first.

When does it come out?

The souls-like action RPG releases on July 23 or 24 depending on your location. Check out the exact WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers release time and countdown.
