Poggers and Where’s Gordy? claimed the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Cup 4 crown! Here’s how they did it.
Poggers and Where's Gordy? came out victorious in the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship (AWC) Cup tournament. Here's how they reached the top at WoW AWC Cup 4!
WoW AWC Dragonflight Cup 4
Poggers claimed yet another victory in a WoW AWC tournament. Unlike Cup 2, however, the players had to fight an uphill battle before reaching the very top. After defeating Bedge in the first round, Poggers went 2-3 against The Bots. This pushed them into the lower elimination bracket where they had to duke it out against The Agents and Team Huhu.
Meanwhile, The Bots fought MyWay in the upper bracket's semifinals and lost 0-3. This meant a rematch in the elimination bracket between Poggers and The Bots to determine who will face MyWay in the final. By going 3-2 against The Bots, Poggers earned a place in the final WoW AWC Cup 4 showdown.
Although MyWay took Nagrand Arena, Poggers didn't give up as the team won at Hook Point, Empyrean Domain, Tiger's Peak, and Tol'viron Arena. With a score of 4-1, Poggers won the gold at WoW AWC Cup 4!
"Happy that we're able to come back from our first cup, which was a bit of a disappointing result," Adam "Chanimal" Chan said in the post-match interview. "And that now we're starting to find our stride and do really well again."
