In addition to delving into the mysterious Emerald Dream, players will get a number of new features and content. This includes a new raid, customization options, class tier sets, and more.

Let's go over the various and prepare our green thumbs for the journey ahead.

When does Guardians of the Dream patch 10.2 release?

The next major content drop for World of Warcraft, the patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream update is set for release on November 7. Along with a new zone in the Emerald Dream is also a new raid--Amirdrassil, the burgeoning, new World Tree that's been cultivated by the Green Dragonflight and the Night Elves. As per usual, someone is trying to burn down a giant tree and it's up to the heroes of Azeroth to stop them.

In this case, it's the Primalist, Fyyrak, now empowered with Shadowflame and helping a returning, evil faction. The Druids of the Flame, last seen in the Firelands raid from Cataclysm, are back and looking for revenge.

Can the Night Elves and Green Dragonflight stop this new World Tree from being burninated? I mean, their track record with this kind of thing isn't great. So... maybe have a backup plan.

In addition to all of that, the patch 10.2 Guardians of the Dream release date brings a number of new features, including:

  • New faction rewards - The Dream Wardens
  • Dragonriding updates - New races, mounts, and more
  • Character customizations for Blood Elves and Druids
  • New public event - Superbloom
  • Class tier sets with unique bonuses and appearances
  • New PVP brawl - Battleground Blitz

All of this and more is set for release on November 7 when Guardians of the Dream hits live servers.
