100 Thieves VALORANT has introduced their new head coach, in the form of world champion assistant coach Zikz.
After helping Evil Geniuses to a 2023 VALORANT championship, Tony "Zikz" Gray will run the ship at 100 Thieves. He replaces Michael "Mikes" Hockom as the head coach. But by the looks of it, Mikes will remaining with the team in some coaching capacity.
This continues a VALORANT OFF//SEASON filled with roster moves, some expected and some not. It isn't the first round of shakeups for 100 Thieves. No one knows if its the last, but whatever the case may be, a world championship caliber coach has stepped in.

Esports fans mostly know Zikz for his time in League of Legends. There he spent time with Counter Logic Gaming, TSM, and 100 Thieves. Now, he's back home after spending a couple years perfecting his craft in VALORANT.
He is a former assistant coach for both NRG and Evil Geniuses. On the latter, he played a large part in the team winning Champions 2023. The players and head coach Christine "potter" Chi have all had nothing but great things to say about Zikz.
This position as head coach with 100 Thieves will be his first head coaching opportunity in the Riot Games first-person shooter. With the remaining starting roster to be determined, he will more than likely have a say regarding what players sign on.
We should know much sooner rather than later. He has confirmed that his first tournament as head coach is the upcoming Red Bull Home Ground. It takes place in Tokyo, Japan and runs November 3-5. So, expect to see the entire roster announced in the coming month before the event begins.
