Since Trace Esports competed in last year's VALORANT Champions 2024, they were included in Pool 1 for the Kickoff Draw. This meant that they get a bye and started the competition from the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. From here, they blew through Dragon Ranger and EDward Gaming.

Trace swept both teams, 2-0, to make it to the Upper Bracket Final. Here, they met Bilibili Gaming. They first clashed on Bind, TE's pick.

The first half was an even 6-6 between the teams, but Trace found a seven-round win streak in the second half. Kai on Vyse and FengF on Raze led their team to victory to close out the map, 13-8.

The next map was Haven and the first half was another 6-6. This time, however, Bilibili Gaming came out on top in the second half, handing Trace Esports their first map loss in the tournament.

The series decider happened on Lotus. This time, the first half went heavily in Trace's favor, 8-4. FengF and the rest of trace Trace promptly closed it out in the second half. They gave Bilibili only two rounds before cementing their place as the world's first team to qualify for Bangkok Masters 2025 and earning a spot in the VCT 2025: China Kickoff Grand Final.

FengF was awarded the series MVP. After this loss, Bilibili Gaming drop to the Lower Bracket Final against EDward Gaming. The winner of this series will also qualify to Masters Bangkok to take VCT China's second slot and advance to the Grand Final against Trace Esports.
