The VALORANT Masters Madrid 2024 is the first international event for 2024. The tournament features the best teams from all over the world and we now have the best amongst the best teams in the playoffs. With only four teams in the playoffs, the final few days of Masters Madrid will be an exciting affair.

Which teams qualified for VALORANT Masters Madrid playoffs?
Four teams qualified for VALORANT Masters Madrid 2024:
- GenG
- Paper Rex
- Sentinels
- LOUD
The teams competed through an intense group stage where they played in a Swiss Stage format. The swiss format ensures there are adequate opportunities for teams to showcase their skill and qualify for the playoffs. After a tough few days, the top four teams have qualified for the Playoffs.
VALORANT Masters Madrid Playoffs Matches
The four teams will play two matches after a small break. Much to fans’ delight, Sentinels and LOUD will face off against each other in one of these matches. The other match of the playoffs is obviously going to take place between the two Asian teams - GenG vs Paper Rex.

GenG and Sentinels went through the group stages without any losses. While GenG won both of their matches with a 2-1 score, they did face off against quite difficult opponents. Their first series was against LOUD, followed by a match series against EDward Gaming.
Meanwhile, Sentinels faced off against both the EMEA teams - Heretics and Karmine Corp. The EMEA nemesis roster had a close 2-1 victory over Heretics, albeit they had a much easier time against Karmine Corp.
The Playoffs feature a double-elimination format. Each team gets two opportunities at the very least to prove itself. All matches except the Lower Bracket finals and the Grand Finals are best-of-five series.
The winner of Masters Madrid also earns 3 VCT Points. While the VCT points might not seem important right now, they are instrumental in deciding the final list of VCT Champs 2024 teams later in the year.
