From cube to chain – VALORANT Champions 2025 winners will now rock a sterling silver necklace crowned with a 22-carat gold pendant.
Cubes are out and drip is in. The victors of VALORANT Champions 2025 will receive brand new drip in the form of sterling silver chain Champions Necklace, which includes a 22-carat gold cube encrusted into it. The new drip features the Champions Pendant, widely regarded as a massive upgrade.
Previously, a Radiant Cube was the individual prize for each player on the VALORANT Champions winning roster. The cube has now been "retired" and instead will be a feature of the Champions Pendant.
VALORANT Champions 2025 all to receive Champions Necklace

All members of the winning team will receive a Champions Necklace.
The Champions Pendant features the tournament's trophy, a bead that marks the year and it will have the winning team and score engraved on the bottom.
The new VALORANT Champions necklaces were created in partnership with Good Art Hollywood, the same company behind the Champions MVP bracelet which will remain a reward.
Jewelry in competitive esports
Jewelry as a reward in competitive esports is rare but not unheard of. Since 2021, Riot Games themselves have given custom championship rings to winners of League of Legends Worlds.
Likewise, the Call of Duty League has gifted World Championship rings to winners of the CDL, customized with each of the players' names. Championship rings - inspired by the NBA tradition - have also appeared in competitive Dota 2, Overwatch and Counter-Strike.

Necklaces or chains as a reward on the other hand are incredibly rare in esports, perhaps a reason why Riot Games decided to go down this route. Optic's CEO H3CZ famously rewarded his VALORANT team with gold chains after their win at Masters Reykjavík back in 2022.
"Players want the drip"
The Champions Necklace was unveiled by Leo Faria himself on the panel in Paris, where the VCT Commissioner also shared a little anecdote.
"At the Champs Seoul afterparty, I was chatting with Christine Chi (Potter) and I said 'we're thinking about changing the cube, what's your honest opinion. Give me your honest opinion. Is it lame?'," recalled Leo Faria, Global Head of VALORANT Esports & Commissioner of the VCT.
"Potter didn't say it was lame, but she said 'players want the drip'. They want something cool to show on social media and celebrate the achievement. That's why we're doing the Champions Pendant."
The $2,250,000 VALORANT Champions will conclude on Oct. 5. The new Champions Necklace not only replaces the Cube, but also marks Riot’s continued shift toward making esports rewards even more flashy.
