In VALORANT Act 6, Pearl and Split are returning to the competitive map pool, while Ascent and Lotus will be rotated out.
If you hate either Pearl or Split or both, bad news: they will be coming back to the VALORANT Act 6 map rotation. Riot Games has announced the upcoming competitive map rotation for patch notes 11.08, which will be available after the VALORANT Champions 2025 tournament concludes. So, there's no need to worry about these changes just yet.
VALORANT Act 6 map rotation
Riot recently announced on X that Ascent and Lotus will be leaving the VALORANT competitive map pool. Starting with Act 6 in patch 11.08, they’ll be replaced by Pearl and Split. These updates are scheduled to go live on Oct. 14, 2025.
This won’t impact the current map rotation for VALORANT Champions 2025, but the new pool will be in effect for the VALORANT Game Changers Championship in South Korea, running from Nov. 20 to Nov. 30.
These will be the available maps on Act 6:
- Haven
- Pearl (NEW)
- Bind
- Sunset
- Corrode
- Abyss
- Split (NEW)
VALORANT Game Changers 2025
It’s still a bit early for full details on the VALORANT Game Changers 2025 Championship, but here’s what we know so far: the event will take place this November at LoL Park in Seoul, South Korea. A total of 10 teams will battle for the biggest trophy of the year. Here are the regions with a path to qualification:
- EMEA Stage 3
- EMEA Circuit Points #2
- EMEA Circuit #3
- North America Stage 2
- Brazil Final Stage
- Pacific #1
- Pacific #2
- LATAM Regional Final
- China Stage 2
- Americas LCQ
In 2024, Shopify Rebellion claimed the championship for the second year in a row. They not only swept all three domestic stages but also secured the biggest tournament of the year. Now in 2025, they’ve already won Challengers North America: Stage 1. The question is: can they carry that momentum all the way to the big stage once again?
