Introducing Tejo, the newest VALORANT Agent. His kit is explosive, and is sure to keep his enemies off balance and under his heel.
Riot Games shared a few teases, showcasing what the Initiator is capable of. Now, we have an official look at Tejo, the first new VALORANT Agent of 2025. He is a Colombian intelligence consultant that uses ballistic barrages to keep enemies at bay.
We've got your first look at the new VALORANT Agent, including all of Tejo's abilities and how they work. Let's dive in.
When does this new Agent release in VALORANT?
It appears that VALORANT is moving in a new direction when it comes to naming their seasons. Previously, the game called them Episodes. And as we reach update 10.0 and what should be Episode 10, we see it is called Act 1 of Season 2025, based on the year.
This new Act kicks off on January 8, 2025. That's when you can expect Tejo to arrive as the newest Agent in VALORANT. The Initiator releases on that day, alongside plenty of other content to kick off the year in the Riot Games first-person shooter.

Tejo's abilities and their descriptions in VALORANT
As an Initiator, Tejo's role in VALORANT is to disrupt enemies. He's meant to push them from their hiding spots, catch them off guard, and set up his teammates to success. His abilities look like they'll do the trick and then some.
Here's what you can expect from the new VALORANT Agent:
- Special Delivery: Equip a sticky grenade. Fire to launch. It sticks to the first surface it touches and explodes, concussing anyone in the blast. Alt-fire to give it a single bounce.
- Stealth Drone: Equip the stealth drone. Fire to send it forward and assume direct control of its movement. Fire again to trigger a pulse that Suppresses and Reveals enemies hit.
- Guided Salvo: Equip an AR targeting system. Fire to select up to two locations on the map. Alt-fire to launch missiles that autonomously navigate to the target locations, detonating on arrival.
- Armageddon (Ultimate): Equip a tactical strike targeting map. Fire to select the origin point of the strike. Fire again to set the end point and launch the strike. Unleash a wave of explosions along the path, and alt-fire to cancel the origin the point.
