For a ticket to the GCC 2025 Upper Bracket Final, Team Liquid Brazil didn’t hold their horses against G2 Gozen and secured their spot.

In one of the most-awaited matches of the day, Team Liquid Brazil sends G2 Gozen to the Lower Bracket and assures the top 3 for the region. One of the main characters was the team's leader, Natália "daiki" Vilela, who closed the third map overtime with a 1v3. Welcome back, queen daiki!

Team Liquid Brazil secures top 3 at the Game Changers Championship 2025

This series was complete madness. The Game Changers Championship 2025 has showcased just how much talent exists in the inclusive scene. Team Liquid dominated G2 Gozen on the first map, but then G2 Gozen came back to defeat Team Liquid, paving the way for much more excitement on the LoL Park stage. Everyone was ready for an intense third map.

"The clutch was them giving the chance, right? I didn't have much time, and then they just opened one by one, and it was very easy for me," daiki commented on her final 1v3 that sealed Team Liquid Brazil's victory over G2 Gozen on Split.

"I think we made a lot of mistakes in terms of our posture throughout the game. We showed resilience, but our posture and approach weren’t always where they needed to be. We could have been more authentic in the way we played, and that ended up costing us, both on Corrode and in some key rounds on Split," daiki reflected.

"The fact that we were able to fight back in certain moments and win rounds that were difficult for us shows that we still have that strength within us. We just need to communicate better and work more effectively so we don’t let that slip away, and so that part of our game is always present," she added.

Queen daiki is back!

With this victory, TL daiki keeps establishing herself as one of the most prominent IGLs in the Game Changers scenario. In her career, she never placed lower than third place in an international event. Except for 2024, the only GCC edition she missed, daiki keeps showing her strength and impact on Team Liquid Brazil and the inclusive scene.

On the possibility of facing MIBR GC in the Grand Finals, TL Julia "Jelly" Iris would love to see that happen. "I think having an all-Brazilian Grand Final would be the ultimate power move for Brazil. It would be amazing. Our region has consistently been in the top three at least since the Game Changer Championship started, and I think we’ve only been getting stronger over time," she stated.

Team Liquid Brazil vs G2 Gozen: A battle of titans

The first map was a confidence boost for Team Liquid Brazil. On their map choice, Haven, the Brazilian team defeated G2 Gozen with no worries. Aside from the pistol rounds and an isolated round on the first half, G2 couldn't take away more rounds from a confident Team Liquid Brazil.

"I think both the girls and I made mistakes in certain situations, whether in our reads or in the decisions we made during the early and mid-rounds," coach Caio "napz" Sousa commented.

The second map was a complete stomp. Corrode is one of the best G2 Gozen maps, and that clearly showed on stage. Team Liquid Brazil couldn't do much to stop their confidence on the map.

The final map

“I think it was tough because in Split, we weren’t as confident. We started confidently after our stomp, but we didn’t keep the pressure that we needed to maintain. On both Corrode and Split, the early stomp affected us, and while I think we could’ve come back, it was very difficult because we lost some of that confidence along the way," daiki added.

The third map was a back-to-back fight between two powerful teams. While G2 started with a small advantage, TL quickly got closer to them and pressured the score. Both teams played as if it were their last match, delivering an incredible performance for the fans. In the end, TL overcame G2 Gozen, sending them to the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 Lower Bracket.
