Back-to-back champions Shopify Rebellion Gold debuted in the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 with a sweep against MIBR GC.
MIBR GC challenged the powerhouses of Shopify Rebellion Gold in the upper bracket quarterfinals of VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025. Unfortunately for them, SRG proved too much of a challenge and dropped to the lower bracket.
MIBR came off a win against GIANTX. Meanwhile, due to seeding, SRG received a bye, and this was their first match of GCC 2025. At the end of the day, experience won as SRG bulldozed through MIBR, 2-0. This even included a 13-1 map win!
After this win, SRG now looks to defeat Karmine Corp, who earned their spot by sweeping Xipto. MIBR, on the other hand, now has to go through the lower bracket and be in do-or-die matches from here on. Their first adversary is the winner of the regional matchup and Pacific finals rematch between Xipto and Ninetails.

The match began in Pearl, MIBR's map pick. MIBR won round 3, denying SRG's bonus, but they wouldn't see the round victory screen again in this map. The back-to-back champions utterly dominated MIBR in the latter's own map pick, 13-1.
The second map, Corrode, started off closer than the first map. MIBR was finally fighting back - multikills, retakes, signs of life from the Brazilian team to keep them afloat. The clutch plays of SRG remained constant, ensuring they wouldn't be in too much of a deficit.
MIBR widened their lead at the start of the second half, but SRG were quick to catch up and keep the map close. Eventually, they evened it out again at 9-9. From here, Shopify Rebellion took full control of the game and successfully sent MIBR to the lower bracket.
