Victor will replace Jerrwin in Sentinels ahead of the VCT Americas 2026: Stage 1 due to visa issues.
Sentinels announced Victor “Victor” Wong as the stand-in for Gurjiwan “Jerrwin” Gill one day from the beginning of the VCT Americas 2026: Stage 1. Jerrwin is currently facing visa issues, preventing him from being present at the start of the tournament.
Victor joins Sentinels
The VALORANT Masters Reykjavík 2022 winner, Victor, is joining Sentinels for the VCT Americas 2026: Stage 1. The announcement was made one day before the start of the regional tournament. Jerrwin remains unable to travel to the United States, resulting in his absence at the start of the event. It is still unclear when the Canadian player will be able to join the lineup.
Following his departure from NRG, Victor Wong competed in Tier 2 with Cubert Academy in 2024 and Chet’s Pets in 2025. The player had been teamless since, but now returns to Tier 1 as a stand-in for Jerrwin.

There were many rumors about who was going to replace Jerrwin as days were passing and the issue was still not solved. Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Tarik “tarik” Celik were both rumored to join the team, but Victor was ultimately the player Sentinels chose. Both TenZ and tarik are currently retired from the competitive scene.
The official roster is:
- Mohamed “jonhqt” Amine Ouarid
- Gabriel “cortezia” Araujo Lobo Cortez
- Yassin “reduxx” Aboulalazm
- Jonah “JonahP” Pulice
- Gurjiwan “Jerrwin” Gill
- Victor “Victor” Wong (stand-in)
