With their elimination, Sentinels have crushed more than 60% of Pick’Em predictions at VALORANT Champions 2025.
About 60.1% of fans predicted Sentinels to reach the Playoffs in their VALORANT Champions 2025 Pick’Ems. But with the elimination of one of the tournament’s fan favorites, those hopes have now been shattered.
Sentinels and Pick'Em predictions
On Sept. 19, Sentinels saw their final chance at reaching the Playoffs slip away, alongside your Pick'Ems predictions. In a tense series against Xi Lai Gaming (XLG), the Chinese squad pulled off the victory over the North Americans. Despite not being the favorites heading into the matchup, XLG once again managed to upset Sentinels. Backed by favorable odds and a massive fan base, Sentinels seemed poised to advance, but it still wasn’t enough to stop XLG.
That same day, the official VALORANT Champions Tour X account, citing data from Amazon Web Services (AWS), revealed a surprising statistic: 60.1% of fans had predicted Sentinels to reach the Playoffs. With their loss to XLG, more than half of the Pick’Ems participants will now see their predictions fall apart. If you are one of the fans who chose Sentinels and now have its Group A Pick'Ems ruined, I'm sorry for you.
VALORANT Champions 2025
In Group A, home to both Sentinels and XLG, Paper Rex has already secured their spot in the Playoffs. XLG will now face GIANTX in a decisive match for the group’s final berth. Over in Group B, FNATIC has also qualified, leaving MIBR, Rex Regum Qeon, and Bilibili Gaming to battle it out for the last remaining spot.
In Group C, NRG became the only North American team to secure a Playoffs spot so far. The final berth will come down to Team Liquid and DRX, after Liquid eliminated the reigning Champions 2024 winners. Finally, in Group D, Team Heretics have achieved their first goal by securing Playoffs qualification. The final spot will be decided in a clash between G2 Esports, T1, and Dragon Ranger Gaming.
