The game was extremely one-sided. Paper Rex started with six-round streak on Split. Sentinels secured two round as Defenders, and they weren't able to do much as attackers.
Paper Rex looked quite happy with this result, and the score on Split supported their cheerful mood.

Patience was the name of the game for Sentinels on Sunset, and that worked out pretty well. As defenders, the team demonstrated an interesting technique of letting PRX enter a bombsite before launching a strong and coordinated counterattack.
Sentinels won a few early rounds, and the game turned into some back-and-forth action. After the switch side, Paper Rex looked like masters of defense, but only for a couple of rounds. Sentinels returned with lots of might. They were willing to take risks, even if that meant losing players.
The pace of the game increased substantially, and somehow, it worked out for PRX. They destroyed the economy of their opponents. With a low buy in the final round, Sentinels still managed to plant Spike, but Paper Rex defused it even with a player at a disadvantage.

During the opening stage, Sentinels looked overpowered in their first match against Wolves Esports. One more battle was needed for the team to advance to the Playoffs.
In the final brackets, Sentinels celebrated a clear win against XLG Esports.
Paper Rex have had ups and downs so far at VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025. They demolished Team Heretics in the opening match of the entire event.
However, PRX didn't win over Gen.G Esports and had to battle against Team Liquid. That was a tough elimination match, and only overtime rounds helped Paper Rex remain in the tournament.
The players recovered decently and won their close quarterfinal against G2 Esports.
The upper bracket final happens on Friday, June 20. VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025 concludes with the grand final on Sunday, June 22.
