Riot Games and erena have partnered to announce the NA VALORANT Console Open with a $10,000 prize pool.
Erena has announced the NA VALORANT Console Open with a $10,000 prize pool. The event is open to all eligible players and will exclusively take place on the console version of VALORANT.
On top of promising fierce competition, the NA VALORANT Console Open will offer many a first chance to watch or test out VALORANT’s recent 10.0 update including the new agent, Tejo, and the reintroduction of Fracture and Lotus to the competitive map pool.
What is the NA VALORANT Console Open?
The NA VALORANT Console Open is a tournament where all North American VALORANT console players can compete! Whether you are a VALORANT console export or have never played VALORANT on console before, all players can compete both for placement prizing and Bounties for a total prize pool of $10,000!
Who can play?
The event is open to all players in the United States (including Puerto Rico), Mexico, and Canada. Players must be at least 13 years old and play the event on a console (Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5).
How can I sign up?
Teams can register using the event’s start.gg page. Players must register as a complete team of five. The first player of a team must invite their team members who will then complete their own registration. Players who are looking for teammates can connect using the dedicated channel in the event’s Discord server.
Teams must complete registration by January 24, 2025 at 5 p.m. ET.
When is the NA VALORANT Console Open?
The first day of competition begins on January 25, 2025 at 1 p.m. ET. Day 1 will feature all registered teams in an open bracket.
The second day of competition will take place on January 26, 2025 at 3 p.m. ET. Day 2 will feature the top eight teams from Day 1 in a closed bracket to determine the champion!

What is the format?
Registered teams will compete in a double elimination bracket. The upper bracket will play best-of-three series while the lower bracket will play best-of-one series. Once the top eight teams are determined in the open bracket, they will be moved to a single elimination bracket on Day 2 where they will play best-of-three series until a winner is determined.
What is the prize pool?
The total prize pool for the NA VALORANT Console Open is $10,000! Placement prizing totals to $8,000. The following prizes will be awarded to each Team (divided equally among all starting Players) based on its placement at the conclusion of the Day 2 Finals:
- 1st - $2,500
- 2nd - $1,500
- 3rd - $1,000
- 4th - $1,000
- 5th - $500
- 6th - $500
- 7th - $500
- 8th - $500
Additional prizes, called Bounties, will be awarded for the following achievements:
- Event MVP - $300
- Best Tejo Player - $250
- Most kills on 1 map - $100
- Most kills/map in 1 series - $100
- Best team play with Tejo - $500 ($100 per player)
- Best Ultimate use with Tejo - $100
- Best utility use with Tejo - $100
- Best clip with Tejo - $250
- Most assists with any non-duelist agent on 1 map: $150
- Most kills with any non-duelist agent on 1 map: $150
