MxS VALORANT is the new collaboration VALORANT roster between Moist Esports and Shopify Rebellion in North America.

Moist Esports and Shopify Rebellion were at the forefront of Tier 2 VALORANT for the majority of 2023. Now, the two organizations will join forces. They've gotten together to create MxS VALORANT and have already announced the starting roster.

This marks the first of its kind in VALORANT. We've seen teams loan players and announce trades, but the esport has never seen a collaboration effort like this. Two well-known entities within the Tier 2 seen have grouped together to compete with hopes of nothing short of victory.

MxS VALORANT is born from Moist and Shopify Rebellion

Shopify Rebellion did not have the most successful season during NA Challengers 2023. The organization did, however, repeatedly state their dedication to the VALORANT scene. Though they released their roster, their partnership with Moist Esports continues to prove that.

When it comes to Moist, they were a favor for a large portion of their time in Challengers. They even finished their Split 2 Group Stage in first place and ended the playoffs in third. That roster blends with the SR roster with the combination of orgs.

MxS VALORANT consists of:

  • Brock "brawk" Somerhalder
  • Xavier "flyuh" Carlson
  • Adam "mada" Pampuch
  • Brady "thief" Dever
  • Victor "v1c" Truong
  • Jared "mac" Schneider (Head Coach)

The team will more than likely look towards OFF//SEASON tournaments and the upcoming 2024 Challengers competition. They have plenty of waiting to do from now until the next season officially starts, giving them ample time to practice and prepare.

If successful, Tier 2 VALORANT could see many more collaborations to come. It would save organizations money by only having to front half the costs that they were previously. And while it may create less opportunities with less teams overall, it gives a chance for Tier 2 players actually on the teams to thrive.
