aspas re-signs until 2027

The majority of the players choose to renew their contract for a single year as they are open to exploring new options in case the year didn't go as the team expects. However, Erick "aspas" Santos' commitment to MIBR is deeper than that, and the Brazilian superstar decided to re-sign with the team until 2027.

On the other side, Andrew "Verno" Maust also chose to stay with the team for the 2026 season. He joined MIBR in March 2025 after being benched from NRG. He is the youngest member of the lineup and the in-game leader (IGL).

In an exclusive interview with The Spike BR, MIBR’s esports director, Carla Sernaglia, revealed that this marks the largest investment the organization has ever made in VALORANT.

zekken, Mazino, and tex join MIBR in 2026

The MIBR 2026 lineup will include three new stars. One of the most antecipated addition was Zachary "zekken" Patrone, as he was rumoured to join the team for some months after he left Sentinels. He won the VALORANT Masters Madrid in 2024, alongside Gustavo "Sacy" Ross, who is now a content creator for MIBR.

Alongside zekken, Ian "tex" Botsch, and Roberto "Mazino" Rivas will also be part of the team in the next year. Both players came from Leavitán, aspas' previous team. They won the VCT Americas: Stage 2 together. The two players haven't gotten an international stage yet, which will be one of the team's biggest goals in 2026. Coach Daniel "fRoD" Montaner will lead the team for another year.
