South American queens

These two know each other too much. As two South American teams, they scrim a lot against each other, which makes this battle very familiar, even if the stage is so far away from home. On one side, a KRÜ Blaze that is very confident in their Lower Bracket run. On the other hand, their Lower Bracket companions are looking for a Brazilian Grand Finals, which means they have to eliminate the "manitas" first.

MIBR GC vs KRÜ Blaze: Match recap

The first map was very dominant for MIBR GC. They were not worried about playing on KRÜ's map pick, as they can win everywhere. After four rounds in a row to kick off this elimination match, KRÜ regained some confidence and was still able to add four rounds to the first half. However, in the second half, MIBR showed their friends why they are such a scary team to play against. There was not much KRÜ could bring to the stage to change the outcome of this match.

The second map didn't start well for KRÜ Blaze, but they quickly regained their confidence on the map, assuring a small advantage. The problem was when MIBR GC entered a train of round victories in the second half, making KRÜ Blaze's life even more difficult.

Despite being somewhat closer in the score, KRÜ was unable to make the comeback necessary to take the series to a third map. This bittersweet defeat means the Latin American team is eliminated from the tournament. However, they achieved more than ever before by finishing in the top four for the first time in their history.
