VALORANT Masters Santiago will be the stage for the first-ever Skirmish Series: a 1v1 tournament that culminates in the main stage.
A new addition to VALORANT Esports will be introduced in Masters Santiago: Skirmish Series. This is a series of 1v1 tournaments where fans can have a chance to play with their favorite creators.
"Masters events travel the world but the moments should belong to the cities that host them," wrote the VALORANT Esports team. Skirmish Series is the chance for players in Santiago to make their mark in Masters history.
Skirmish Series
Skirmish Series will be played on several match days. On these days, four single-elimination tournaments with 16 players each will be played. There will be a total of 16 tournaments.
Games will be 1v1, best-of-1, so players really need to make their chance count. Riot has said that slots are extremely limited, and since this is the first of its kind, they are open to changing entry capacity and formats as the days go on. "We may make judgment calls to ensure the best possible on-site experience for competitors and fans," the VALORANT Esports team wrote.

The winners of each will receive prizes and will qualify for the Final Tournament on March 14th. These 16 qualified players will compete among themselves, plus 16 creators, in a double-elimination bracket. The Grand Finals of this bracket will be played on the VCT Stage after the Masters matches of the day conclude.
