Sentinels have officially announced JonahP as the newest member of their roster. He will join the team for VCT Americas 2026: Stage 1.

Jonah “JonahP” Pulice has officially left G2 Esports after three months of inactivity. The “Professor” is joining Sentinels ahead of the VCT Americas 2026: Stage 1. In 2025, he won all domestic titles and secured a second place at the VALORANT Masters Bangkok.

The announcement was made with Mask Off by Future playing in the background. During the 2025 offseason, G2 Esports revealed that JonahP would no longer be part of the active roster. He was eventually replaced by Andrej “babybay” Francisty.

After spending three months without a team, JonahP even made an appearance on the VCT Americas broadcast. On March 6, Sentinels officially announced the signing of JonahP, who joins the roster as an Initiator. “Since day one of meeting and practicing with this team, I knew I belonged here,” JonahP wrote on X.

Following Sentinels’ disappointing run at the VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff, the team decided to make changes to its roster. “We needed someone with a lot of experience,” the in-game leader, Amine “johnqt” Ouarid, revealed. “JonahP brings a lot of value to the team, and we’re excited to play more with him.”

The in-game leader also highlighted how well JonahP fits into the squad, with Yassin “reduxx” Aboulalazm adding that “he is already one of the boys.” For the season, JonahP said he wants to help Sentinels build a strong foundation by strengthening their teamwork and developing relationships both in and out of the server.

FNS nicknamed JonahP “The Professor” in 2023 because The Guard and NRG frequently scrimmed against each other.

Who is leaving Sentinels?

With the addition of JonahP and the absence of several players in the announcement video, it appears likely that Mirel “Kyu” Hrustemovic will be departing Sentinels. Rumors have also been circulating that Marshall “N4RRATE” Massey could be on his way out, with Sentinels reportedly trialing a new second duelist.

While some fans hope that Tyson “TenZ” Ngo comes out of retirement to rejoin Sentinels, that information has yet to be confirmed.

The VCT Americas 2026: Stage 1 kicks off on April 10. The top three teams will secure their qualification to the VALORANT Masters London, set to happen from June 6 to June 21.
