Global Esports is looking to open the door for anyone interested, as tryouts are to be hosted for their 2025 VCT Pacific roster.

It is safe to say expectations have not been might since Global Esports joined VCT Pacific. While they've placed well in OFF//SEASON tournaments, their record in VCT league play is nothing to get excited about. This is perhaps why they're testing the waters, as Global Esports will host open tryouts for their VALORANT roster before VCT 2025 kicks off.

Let's dive into the details.

Open tryouts to be held to fill in VCT 2025 roster for Global Esports

The team has announced that it is finalizing its coaching staff at the current time. While that is happening, they are looking for players who want to live their dream in the VCT. A Google Form has been made available for anyone who wants to give it a shot.

Global Esports open tryouts for their 2025 VCT Pacific roster won't be given to everyone. A shortlist will be made based on the form, and GE will reach out to those prospective players. Here's a look at the requirements:

  • Minimum rank must be Radiant for two of the last three VALORANT Acts
  • English communication is required
  • Tracker, VLR, RIB, and all other supporting links must be public
  • A passport is necessary

And here's a summary of the information they ask of you:

  • What region are you applying from?
  • All spoken languages
  • Full legal name
  • In-game name
  • Discord ID
  • Phone number
  • Contact email
  • Riot ID
  • Age
  • Location
  • Work and education status
  • VLR and Tracker links
  • Preferred roles/Agents in VALORANT
  • Current Rank, RR included
  • Possible roles you are willing to learn
  • Other reference links
  • An opportunity to pitch to GE why they should give you a shot

Global Esports has had some prominent players join and exit since their time in the VCT began. The likes of AYRIN, t3xture, Monyet, SkRossi, Benkai, and Russ were all once or still are part of the team.

If a full rebuild is underway, we'll hear about it soon, otherwise expect just a small shakeup with these Global Esports open tryouts to fill out the team.
