In the most recent update, FNATIC announced the departure of its head coach after not qualifying for VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025.

After FNATIC failed the qualification for VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, the team decided to part ways with the head coach, Chris "Elmapuddy" Tebbit. The news was announced in a video update published on the team's X page.

FNATIC's new head coach

So far, there is no information about the person who is going to replace Elmapuddy for Split 1. He was on the team since 2023 and won two titles: Red Bull Home Ground #4 and VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2024 Stage 2 for the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. He was then moved to the inactive roster. Elmapuddy already reacted on his X page, assuming responsibility for the performances and thanking the roster and the fans for the incredible moments.

FNATIC "has a solid group that can still achieve a lot"

The update also focused on the roster's confidence and strength, even without the qualification for the first international event of the year. FNATIC team director Colin "CoJo" Johnson described Kajetan "kaajak" Haremski as a top-tier duelist and Austin "crashies" Roberts as a "great influence and member of the team." He highlighted FNATIC's current roster as a solid group that can still achieve a lot in the future despite all the obstacles. He also thanked the fans for their incredible support.

Leo's health update

Since many fans have been demanding an update on Leo "Leo" Jannesson's health condition, FNATIC took the opportunity to address it. According to the team, they're still monitoring his condition, but he won't be able to play on Stage 1. Crashies will be maintained in the official roster.

In August, during Patiphan "CigaretteS" Posri's live stream, Boaster explained that Leo suffered from Long COVID. This condition can affect some people after being infected with the virus the first time. According to Boaster, Leo was suffering from extreme tiredness and dizziness. In December, FNATIC signed crashies to replace Leo during his recovery.
