Here are the details of the sexual assault allegations against florescent and why the VALORANT community has turned on Riot.
Allegations surrounding VALORANT professional Ava "florescent" Eugene have had recent developments from the victims, florescent herself, and Riot Games.
Edited May 20, 2025 8:30am EST: Added statements from SR Gold, Sarah, and Ashe.
The initial florescent allegations doc
The first document outlining the experiences of an anonymous victim under the name "Brick" was posted by ex-Game Changers pro Marceline "karie" Carson on X.
She says that Brick is "one of the most important people" in her life, and that florescent "deserves justice" for her actions. Karie proceeded to call her "an awfully vile person and very disgusting" before outlining a series of events that detail how she sexually assaulted Brick.

The events outlined in this doc happened on January 3, 2024. By this time, flor was 17 years old. The telling of events involved Brick and flor, referred to as "Ava," and how they had continued sexual relations despite the lack of consent from Brick. The doc also contained screenshots of messages from Brick to karie about flor's actions.
In a follow-up X post, karie added that "the story never stopped her and [florescent] constantly lied."

In the two days that the post has been up, it has garnered over 8 million views.
Florescent acknowledges, denies, and seeks legal assistance for allegations
About 12 hours after the first doc was posted, florescent put out a short statement on X.

The most important part of this is where she "strongly [denies] any and all accusations of [sexual assault]." She also implied that she has evidence that would lead to her innocence being proven, but says that she cannot share it at this time.
The follow-up document
Karie posted another document, a day after the first one went live and 12 more hours after flor made her statement.
This time, the story comes straight from Brick — a six-page document detailing their "incredibly toxic, abusive, and controlling" relationship. It contained a lot of screenshots of conversations, as well as anecdotes from two of florescent's previous partners.
It was in a few clear parts, all with supporting statements, recordings, and screenshots. First was when florescent accused Brick of lying about being pregnant and the former's insistence on having unprotected sex when they were 16 and 15 years old, respectively.
The second part was a follow-up to the first doc that karie posted. Brick gave more context to the day and retold the incident from her point of view. It began with florescent texting her while drunk, and how the player continued to sexually assault her despite her insistence to leave.

The third part outlined Brick's experience on September 3, 2023 when the two decided to go to the CNE (presumably, the Canadian National Exhibition, also known as "The Ex"). The two made plans to go even if they had broken up because Brick "didn't want our tickets to go to waste."

florescent then made sexual advances and "randomly tried initiating sex" when she went to Brick's place "very early in the morning" prior to going to the event.
The two eventually ended up going home shortly after arriving at the event "due to the high tension built from the events earlier." florescent comforted Brick, but once again tried to initiate sex. "I told her I didn’t want to, that we were friends, and that I didn’t want to have sex with my friends," wrote Brick. florescent then asked Brick out again, which the latter believed was genuine, then had sex.

When the act was over, florescent broke up with her again. "[It made] it clear to me that the only reason she apologized in the first place was to get me to have sex with her," wrote Brick.
The fourth and final part was regarding florescent's emotional manipulation and neglect. Brick revealed that flor had self-harming tendencies. She believes that flor is doing this to make her feel guilty or worried. At one point, she sent Brick a suicide note, but she later found out that "Ava was safe and chilling on the couch in their living room."

The worst of the emotional neglect was on July 10, 2023, when Brick got into a car accident, and florescent opted to break up instead of offering support. Brick then begged her to stay, which she did.
Riot puts out a statement on florescent allegations
The official VALORANT Champions Tour account on X posted that they will "cooperate fully with any legal investigation" regarding the allegations.

However, what rubbed many the wrong way wa the fact that florescent's name was nowhere to be seen on the post. In many similar, or even less grievous, cases in the past, Riot did not hesitate to put out the full name of the alleged player.

"Her name is florescent idk why riot is withholding that information," posted karie.
Shopify Rebellions speak out, more victims show
The players on Shopify Rebellion Gold, along with their coach, put out a shared statement regarding their thoughts on the allegations as flor's former teammates for two years.
"Flor's behavior was reprehensible, regardless of whether any additional anecdotes or evidence are released," the statement read. They also urged people not to use the situation as a springboard to discuss its impact on Game Changers. "We should all prioritized supporting the victims before even beginning to think about how this impacts something as trivial as a videogame's competitive scene."

It was signed by four of flor's ex-teammates: Alexis "alexis" Guarrasi, Melanie "meL" Capone, Nicole "Noia" Tierce, and Sarah "sarah" Simpson, as well as their coach, Loic "effys" Sauvageau."
Sarah also shared her own experiences with flor. According to her, flor made her believe that she was helping her get away from an abusive situation. She also attested to flor's "extremely malicious pattern of behavior" outlined in the docs, including suicide-baiting and pathological lying.
"My heart breaks for the victims and I cannot imagine how difficult this must have been for them," Sarah wrote.
Shortly after, another victim spoke up: Ashe. She posted a document stating how flor asked Ashe to "groom her," accompanied by eight pages of screenshots involving said reprehensible behavior.
