Map 1
The match between FNATIC and DRX for the final spot in the Champions 2025 promised to be thrilling. On the first map, DRX executed their mosquito composition flawlessly, which had brought them success in the tournament. Meanwhile, FNATIC was still warming up and trying to figure out how to defeat DRX, leading to a lackluster performance in the following match. HYUMIN and Flashback reminded everyone why they were one of the best duos for the mosquito competition.
Map 2
Corrode and DRX were like water and oil. They just don’t mix. The Pacific region and Corrode have never been a good match, and FNATIC proved it once again by annihilating the Korean squad. Crashies was starting to feel himself in this match, and Corrode was his training round.
Map 3
After a much-needed mental reset, DRX came back stronger on Haven, opening with an impressive five-round streak. But FNATIC quickly found their rhythm and turned the tide. In the second half, FNATIC’s attack was simply unstoppable, with kaajak and crashies leading the charge. Despite DRX narrowing the gap, their efforts ultimately fell short as FNATIC closed out the map in dominant fashion.
Map 4
DRX couldn’t hold it together on the fourth map. Bind quickly slipped out of their control after FNATIC strung together four straight rounds, and then six more. Once again, kaajak showcased why he’s among EMEA’s best duelists, dazzling with his trademark Yoru plays.
Chronicle also breathed life into his Viper, delivering one of the most impactful performances of the map. With little left to answer back, DRX fell short and were eliminated from the tournament. FNATIC now moves on to face NRG in the VALORANT Champions 2025 Grand Finals.
