Batman plays as KAY/O? Ben Affleck has a deep connection to VALORANT and we explain how it all started here.

We all know him as Batman, Daredevil, the guy from those Kevin Smith movies. But Ben Affleck is more than that. Ben Affleck is a dad, a gamer, and a thorough VALORANT enjoyer. He bonds with his son over the Riot Games FPS and even appears to be a fan of Sentinels.

Like most of us, am I right? Seriously, though, he's as mainstream of a celebrity as it gets and has brought tons of eyes recently to the game. It is super cool to see and we're going to briefly touch on Ben Affleck's connection to our beloved VALORANT.

We first learned of Ben Affleck's love for VALORANT at Champions 2023 in Los Angeles. This writer was actually on site there and had a brief interaction with him in the press room with other journalists, where he was on a tour of the venue with his son.

They sat down at the press conference table and pretended to be pro players answering questions after a hard fought victory. It was awesome to see, and little did anyone know, it would start the long term relationship between Ben Affleck and VALORANT.

He was hanging out with some voice actors, caught entering the show, and made a comment about the Jett nerfs to Shannon Williams. Clearly, he knew what he was talking about. And now years later, to promote his upcoming movie The Accountant 2, he joined a Sentinels watch party.

On the couch with his son, Tarik, and Sentinels CEO Rob Moore, Ben Affleck mentioned the likes of TenZ, gave commentary on the action taking place, and proved to us all that he is truly a VALORANT fan alongside his kin.

Does Ben Affleck play VALORANT?

Just because someone enjoys something doesn't always mean they're an active participant. Not all football or baseball fans play the sport. Not all VALORANT fans grind the competitive queue even though they can barely make it past Gold.

Well, it appears the Ben Affleck actually plays VALORANT. During the Sentinels watch party, his son mentions how they duo together all the time. And that, embarrassingly, his dad is still learning how to use the Vandal.

Ben chimes in about being an Odin user, and how it is part of the game, so there is nothing wrong with that being his go-to weapon. And he's absolutely right. That's the mindset of a true VALORANT player and 100% proves he hops into the server from time to time.
