Turkish powerhouses BBL PCIFIC and ULF Esports make VCT EMEA 2026 debut

It's a historic weekend for Turkish VALORANT. Two rising Ascension teams are set to make their mark in the VALORANT Champions Tour Europe, Middle East, and Africa (VCT EMEA) 2026 season. After two intense clashes, BBL PCIFIC and ULF Esports have earned promotion to Tier 1, becoming part of the first-ever double promotion in the event’s history.

BBL PCIFIC and ULF Esports have officially joined VCT EMEA Tier 1, boosting the number of Turkish teams in the competition from two to four, alongside BBL Esports and FUT Esports. Not only did they bring more organizations into the scene, but they also arrived on the biggest stage with full Turkish rosters.

With the addition of these two powerhouses, the VCT EMEA will now have 25 Turkish players in the region.

BBL PCIFIC is an Affiliate Partnership team formed between BBL Esports and PCIFIC Esports in 2024. The program, introduced by Riot in the last season, allows VCT International League teams to partner with Challenger or Game Changers teams, fostering deeper relationships and creating more opportunities across the competitive tiers.

For the team, their redemption arc is now complete as they have finally managed to arrive the Tier 1. After losing their shot last year, losing to Apeks in the Grand Finals, the team now has a chance to prove its value on the big stage. The team defeated the Italian organization, DNSTY, by 3-1.

ULF Esports is a Turkish organization founded in 2024. In their first year competing in Tier 2, they quickly demonstrated their true potential. Not only that, but ULF came from the Premier, VALORANT’s tournament system, making their rapid rise to Tier 1 an impressive achievement.

Their journey proves that with talent and opportunity, any team can reach the top, and highlights the hidden talent thriving in the scene.

Across the globe, Ascension teams battled fiercely for a spot in VCT Tier 1, and the full list of promoted teams is now complete. Unlike other regions, VCT China and VCT Americas only promote one Ascension team each year. We are very excited to see how they will perform next year!
