All Asian teams are now out of VALORANT Game Changers 2025 as Nova Esports fall to KRU Blaze in a do-or-die match.

Sole Chinese representative Nova Esports exited the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 as they fell to KRU Blaze. Nova's elimination also meant that all teams from Asia are now out of the competition.

Nova vs KRU

Nova was the only representative from the Chinese Game Changers League. They had to go against Pacific's #2 seed, Ninetails, in the debut match of the competition. This was a 2-0 for the Chinese squad, advancing them to a match against G2 Gozen.

This time, they get swept. G2 sent them to the lower bracket, where they faced KRU. Meanwhile, KRU's trip to the do-or-die match was courtesy of Team Liquid.

The elimination match between Nova and KRU put everyone on the edge of their seats. The final result might have been a 2-0, but fans were treated to an overtime in map 1.

Split ended 16-14 for KRU, while Haven was a much more dominant 13-4 win.

Asia exits GCC 2025

Three out of the ten teams in VALORANT Game Changers 2025 were from Asia. Xipto GC and Ninetails as Pacific's first and second seed, and Nova as CN's only delegates.

A series of unfortunate draws, combined with their losses, meant that Asian teams were eliminated early from the tournament. Xipto were the first to go, eliminated by their fellow Pacific team NTZ in a team-kill during the first lower bracket stage. The reason why NTZ was down there in the first place? Their loss against Nova. The Korean team was eliminated by a loss to MIBR GC shortly after.

Nova did make history as the first Chinese team to earn a map and match win internationally. This meant that they exited the competition at a slightly higher finish. Both Nova and Ninetails placed at 7th-8th after their respective losses in the lower bracket.

VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025 continues and is set to culminate on Nov. 30, 2025.
