The Araxys skin line comes to Valorant with Episode 6, REVELATION. The science fiction weapon set brings an alien-theme to the guns.

Riot Games revealed Valorant Episode 6, known as REVELATION. It will launch on Jan. 10 with new content, such as a Battlepass, a new map, and a brand new skin line. The Araxys skin line, the featured set for the new Valorant Episode, delivers weapons from a mysterious and hostile alien race into the hands of players.

The Araxys skin line will appear in the Valorant shop once Episode 6 goes live. In the skin line, you'll find science fiction-themed weapons with an alien twist. The Vandal, Shorty, Bulldog, Operator, and Bio Harvester (melee slot) are available as part of the set.

With Radianite, you can upgrade each weapon to receive bonus effects and features:

  • Level 1: Araxys weapon, skin-specific bullets, and an ADS reticle
  • Level 2: Skin-specific firing audio and muzzle flash
  • Level 3: Skin-specific equip, reload, inspect, and idle animations
  • Level 4: Finisher and Kill Banner

The melee version of the Araxys skin only goes up to Level 2, which provides the skin-specific equip and swiping animations, video effects, and audio. And along with leveling up the effects of the weapon, you can also spend Radianite to unlock color variants.

Every weapon in the Araxys skin line has a purple, black/red, and gray variant. The guns in the skin line see each color variation receive the same color change to its Kill Banner and Finisher.

Exclusive bundle items

As with every skin set in Valorant, you can purchase the Araxys line as a bundle or as each weapon individually. There is a benefit to buying the bundle. You'll get a discount compared to buying all the guns themselves and receive a few bundle exclusive items:

  • Araxys Gun Buddy
  • Araxys Player Card
  • Araxys Spray

Other players can see the Player Card while you load into a match. You can hang the Gun Buddy from the side of any weapon. And you can place the animated Spray, which cycles through multiple center icons, on the environment before, during, or after a round.

Araxys skin bundle price

The bundle will cost you a decent amount of VP. These are Valorant Points, bought with real money. Think of them as Valorant's version of V-Bucks or COD Points.

The bundle is of the Exclusive tier and costs 8700 VP. This is the equivalent of just over $90 USD, but there is no direct 8700 VP package available. You'll need to buy a couple of the mid-level packages or splurge for the top package to reach the amount of VP needed for the set.
