First Descendant’s new skins look ready for a hot tub stream

The First Descendant had an explosive start attracting over 250,000 active players. While the looter shooter had interesting gameplay loops and mechanics, cosmetic items like the Ultimate Bunny skin played a role in its popularity, too. And it looks like Nexon hopes to recapture that crowd with First Descendant's latest crop of new skins. Check out all the cosmetics arriving in the "Albion Hot Springs" update.

First Descendant's home hub, Albion, is the map where players interact with each other and the game's various NPCs to upgrade their weapons, skills, and more. Plus, it is often the venue for online shenanigans like spontaneous drums. Now, the haven is getting an extension added in the form of the Albion Hot Springs. The update, which arrives on a chilly Feb. 13, will add the Albion Hot Springs complete with relaxing bamboo decoration.

To fit the summer theme, the Descendants too will get new Hot Spring skins. While the female characters all receive bespoke skins, suiting both their designs and personalities, the male descendants will receive a standardized swim trunk to fit them all. Here are all the new skins coming to First Descendant.

Alongside the new skins and the Albion Hot Springs itself, First Descendant will also be adding two new emotes to the game. These emotes are accessible to all characters and summon a hot spring in front of them.
