Group Stage - Phase 1: August 21 - 7 a.m. PT to 1 p.m. PT

Group Stage - Phase 1: August 22 - 7 a.m. PT to 10:45 a.m. PT

Group Stage - Phase 2: August 22 - 10:45 a.m. PT to 1:30 p.m. PT

Group Stage - Phase 2: August 23 - 8 a.m. PT to 9:45 a.m. PT

TEKKEN 8 Playoffs: August 23 - 10 a.m. PT to 12:30 p.m. PT

The TEKKEN 8 event will kick off during Week 8. It will begin with the Group Stage before the Playoffs. Then, only the top competitors will battle for spots in the Grand Final to win the lion's share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool.

Format for TEKKEN 8 at the Esports World Cup

Phase 2	4 groups of 4 players, GSL Style, double-elimination, Ft2
	Top 2 advance, others eliminated
Phase 3	Single-elimination bracket, Ft5

The tournament format will include three phases. Phase 1 will feature eight groups of four players in a GSL-style, double-elimination bracket with matches being first to 2 (Ft2). Two players will advance further in the competition. Next, Phase 2 will follow the same format. However, it will feature four groups instead. The final phase will be a single-elimination bracket with matches being first to 5 (Ft5).
