All eligible iPhones for iOS 18

The Apple Event is fast approaching and with it will come new hardware but more importantly, new software as well. For the millions of iPhone users all over the world, it is an interesting question whether their phones can run the new iOS18. If your phone was eligible for the iOS17 update last year, then it will also be able to run iOS18 this year according to Apple.

So if you have a phone that is bought after 2017, you should be able to upgrade to the iOS 18 and run it smoothly without any problems. While you should be able to run the latest software, it remains to be seen which phones can run the infamous Apple Intelligence.

There are reports of Apple Intelligence launching on September 9. Earlier this year, Apple signed a deal with OpenAI to help develop artificial intelligence for Apple phones. The Apple Intelligence will most likely be limited to the newest phones which means it should be limited to the iPhone 15 series.

iOS 18 is already in beta testing, however, the beta has various bugs and glitches. We recommend waiting it out for the stable version to roll out and then update your device. The new update will allow users greater control over their home screens as well as their photo libraries. The biggest change would be the introduction of Rich Communication Service (RCS) that will allow iPhone users to communicate with their Android counterparts in a more interactive way.
