Mortdog covered the TFT 14.5 update in his latest patch rundown as well. To preface everything, he noted how the game is in a good spot in terms of the meta right now. Therefore, this patch aims to be a small one when it comes to champions and trait balance. However, as noted above, a bunch of items are getting slight reworks.
Starting with these item updates and reworks, Mortdog discussed Striker's Flail, Chainstriker, Guinsoo's Rageblade, and Guinsoo's Reckoning, as well as adjustments to Spirit Visage, More-Spirit Visage, Kraken's Fury, Torrential Maelstrom, Void Staff, Icathia's Revenge, Sterak's Gage, and Sterak's Megashield.
As for the artifact items, he went over the changes to The Indomitable, Flickerblade, Statikk Shiv, and Titanic Hydra. Other updates include the removal of Anima Visage and Spite, increased proc damage for Lich Bane, and buffs to Mogul's Mail and Wit's End.

The TFT patch 14.5 rundown then continued with updates to encounters, traits, champions, augments, and bug fixes. Below are the rest of the patch notes, some of which differ from earlier predictions from the public beta environment (PBE).

The return of Mortdog's patch rundowns
On May 25, Mortdog returned with a new TFT patch rundown after taking a break from them. In his latest YouTube video and Twitch stream, he acknowledged that there wasn't a rundown for patch 14.4.
"Yes, I know we missed the last patch rundown, but we're back with another patch rundown," he said. "It is patch TFT 14.5."
For more context, on April 28 during a livestream, Mortdog announced he would be stepping away from patch rundowns, social media, and streaming for a while. He explained the challenge of being the target of a lot of player frustration. Since then, TFT community members such as Dan "Frodan" Chou, FenrirButGaming, and Kitkatman111 have filled the void.
Then, on May 25, Mortdog returned with a closer look at TFT patch 14.5. Players rejoiced in the comments under his YouTube video. One player, for example, expressed appreciation for Mortdog’s insights, noting that the in-depth patch explainers are by far the best part of TFT.
"This is by far the best thing about TFT is the in depth explainers of the patches. I was so worried about going into these item reworks "blind," so to say," lionheartzcs2 wrote. "[Mortdog] just breaks down these concepts so well that [it's] easy to understand what and why the team is approaching these things for."
